Free Printable Pinyin Chart Available Now!

As a Chinese student, I know first hand the importance of mastering pinyin 拼音 (pīnyīn) pronunciation. If you are busy like me, sometimes learning has to get straight to the point. In that spirit, my new video “Let’s Learn Pinyin Pronunciation” lacks fluff. A native speaker gets straight to the sounds themselves.  Watch it now at the bottom of this blog post.

Also, two new interactive lessons are available which provide English equivalents for most “initial” and “vowel” Mandarin sounds. While some sounds are unique to Mandarin, the “Let’s Learn Pinyin Pronunciation” video includes all sounds whether or not they are comparable to English.

Finally, we have added Free Printable Pinyin Charts in both Letter (8 1/2 x 11) and Legal sizes (8 1/2 x 14). They are available both on the “Printables” page and the “Pinyin Chart” page.  Print yours now.  Happy learning!
