After retiring from secular work in 2005 following Hurricane Katrina, I settled in North Carolina with my husband, Barry, and our beloved Shih Tzu, Sophie Belle. One of my favorite projects is a collection of more than 7,500 Chinese vocabulary words and phrases with downloadable audio. Based on the publication Basic Theocratic Expressions, this resource was created especially for Jehovah’s Witnesses learning Mandarin. It includes everyday vocabulary, practical expressions, country names, holidays, Bible terminology, names of Bible characters, Bible books, and much more.
