How to Fix Audio Not Playing in Safari on Mac, iPhone or iPad

If an audio player or search box on MandarinMania.com is not working in Safari, a privacy setting may be preventing the content from loading. Follow the instructions for your device below, then reload the page and try again.

Safari on Mac

Mac desktop or laptop

  1. Open Safari on your Mac.
  2. From the menu bar, select Safari, then Settings. On older versions of macOS, this may be called Preferences.
  3. Select the Privacy tab.
  4. Uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking.
  5. Return to MandarinMania.com, reload the page, and try the audio player again.

Safari on iPhone or iPad

Current and older iOS or iPadOS versions

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Select Apps, then select Safari. On older versions of iOS or iPadOS, scroll down and select Safari directly.
  3. Scroll to the Privacy & Security section.
  4. Turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking. The switch is off when it appears gray.
  5. Return to Safari, reload the MandarinMania.com page, and try the audio player again.
